Azure SQL DB Sensor
This sensor allows you to monitor the performance and behavior of the databases managed in Azure SQL DB. Azure SQL DB is Microsoft’s cloud database service, that enables organizations to store relational data in the cloud and quickly scale the size of their databases up or down as business needs change.
Azure SQL DB sensor allows you to monitor failed/successful connections or connections blocked by a firewall; to control data and CPU resources by monitoring their average values as well as the occupied memory space and usage percentage. It also makes it possible to verify the data space used, for example when the upper limit is reached. Thanks to this sensor you'll have insight into the utilization of the service and databases, ensuring optimal performance.
Options
This sensor requires credentials for Azure subscription (Application (Client) ID, Tenant ID, and Client Secret Value).
Alerts
- Data space used > 90%
- SQL DB process memory usage > 90%

Reports (Data Collectors)
By default, the sensor adds a report containing Process\% SQL Server Process Core, Process\% SQL Server Process Memory, and Resources\Avg. Data Space Allocated [bytes] charts. These metrics will be collected and available as a report or through Performance Trend Viewer.
