Managing Node Custom Data
You can easily extend the NetCrunch node database by adding custom fields to each node. This allows for creating views and controlling alerting action execution.
NetCrunch allows you to add custom fields to node properties. There are several predefined fields. Some fields (like Info1 and Info2) are there for compatibility with old versions. Fields can be used to organize data.
You can add these fields: number, text, date, time, or picklist.
Additionally, Text type can be converted to a picklist anytime and vice-versa.
Custom node fields can create dynamic views (defined by filtering conditions). Atlas View membership also controls alerts and action execution. See Action Restrictions
